Second stage: A competency-based task will be given to you to complete in a set time frame, so we can see your abilities and way of working.
Third stage: A more formal face-to-face interview to discuss the job responsibilities and how you fit the job role.
Responsibilities (ERP Project):
Coordinate and manage multiple implementation projects at the same time (including but not limited to implementations, upgrades, and new installations)
Champion and adhere to the organisation's implementation methodology and approach
Lead project kick-off sessions to confirm business and functional requirements definition, prioritisation of requirements and scope definition, ensuring the scope, budget and timeline are clearly understood
Assist customers in the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of ERP project implementation
Play the primary day-to-day management liaison between clients and Nolan resources on all assigned engagements
Plan, organise, lead, and monitor the activities of the project team and resources
Lead project team meetings, both internally and with the customer
Maintain overall control of the project scope, budget, and schedule
Manage project risks and escalate any issues
Monitor all timesheet and expense reporting activities for all resources engaged in the project
Manage client expectations and maintain communication throughout the course of the project
Provide routine status reports and dashboards as to the progress and health of each project and address issues or concerns when appropriate
Manage client variations and changes to project scope of deliverables, time, quality, costs, and resources, and ensure that change controls and project governance procedures are adhered to
Take ownership of project success by proactively directing, mentoring, and coaching as needed to raise the bar on project delivery quality
Responsibilities (Agile Scrum)
Primary point of contact for the product backlog - responsible for bridging the gap between the customer, business, and development teams
Lead the business stakeholders meeting to develop an agreed set of Sprint priorities, ensuring requirements (user stories) are appropriately detailed with accompanying acceptance criteria
Participation in the Sprint planning session to answer questions and clarify any unclear requirements
Primary point of contact to unblock any issues with requirements during the development Sprint
Attend Sprint review and validate the requirements have been met and can be released and marked as completed
Skills and Competencies – Essential:
Extensive experience in full life cycle ERP/NetSuite implementations
Considerable project management experience with a background in professional services and consulting
Experience of managing large scale projects
Good knowledge of Scrum and agile methodologies
Strong time management skills. You will have multiple priorities to focus on in a week that often changes based on customer demands
Professional presence and demeanour in both communication and presentation skills
Comfortable with leading meetings/steering groups
Excellent work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
Ability to build strong working relationships quickly and effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels
Strong communication and writing skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with challenge and push-back
Positive service mentality and care for the client experience
Experience using project management tools such as MS Project to plan and track projects
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including use of Teams and SharePoint for collaboration
Flexibility to work, with the ability to travel to customer site in Leeds for meetings twice per month
Skills and Competencies – Desirable:
Project Management (PMP, Prince2) certifications
Product Knowledge of NetSuite CRM and ERP, and Microsoft Dynamics 365
Knowledge of Dev Ops TFS for managing backlogs and requirements
Foundation knowledge of financial processes and importance in the ERP system
Previous knowledge of working with Cloud based applications
