Job description:
The project manager role is critical to the successful delivery of our ERP business solutions. Our methodology concentrates on the right amount of planning, implementing and monitoring to achieve successful project outcomes. As a project manager you will be responsible for onboarding new customers ensuring that their chosen solution achieves the maximum customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
Lead the initiation and planning of a project and confirm feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure successful execution of projects
Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders
Measure project performance using appropriate project management tools
Perform risk management analysis to reduce project risks
Ensure change requests are accurately documented, analysed and approved
Report and escalate project issues to project sponsor/steering group
Approve all project timesheets and expenses against agreed budget
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Conduct post project lessons learned to improve effectiveness and customer satisfaction
Skills and Competencies
Essential:
Strong time management and organisation skills
Ability to build strong working relationships quickly and effectively with clients, partners and colleagues at all levels
Collaborative and shares knowledge with colleagues
Critically thinking and problem-solving skills
Tenacity and drive to ensure projects goals are met
Comfortable with leading meetings and chairing project steering meetings
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience using project management tools such as MS Project to plan and track projects
Desirable:
Previous experience working in software implementations
Understanding of ERP financial and business processes
Formal training in project management
Along with the above, you should be willing to share ideas, learn new technology, be enthusiastic about your work, be able to work on your own initiative and develop close and sustainable relationships with your clients and colleagues.
