EASY’S Partnership with Microsoft ERP VAR Nolan Business Solutions Reaps Rewards
Bury St Edmunds, UK – November 3, 2015 – EASY SOFTWARE UK has today announced that its key partner Nolan Business Solutions has implemented two new Document Management systems for two marquee name enterprises – a major UK membership-based organisation and a major global tech reseller.
These UK-based companies join a growing roster of EASY customers around the world, as well as complementing the rising number of Nolan’s Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) customers who are taking on EASY SOFTWARE.
The membership organisation is a UK-headquartered mutual that offers discounts on leisure- and travel-based activities to its 300,000 members. This new customer turned to Document Management to better control and organise documents throughout the organisation, and in particular move to full, efficient digital membership management. EASY helps them to meet both aims by allowing the scanning of purchase invoices, importing invoices in electronic form out of email, extraction of metadata from purchase invoices and routing around the business for approval, plus updating its Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP system with all this extracted data, and finally linking all stored documentation for retrieval and search via a Web interface.
The IT reseller, meanwhile, offers a comprehensive portfolio of IT services to a customer base of over 11,000 SMBs, public sector and large enterprises. Driven by a vision of improved efficiency via streamlining its internal finance and licence confirmation process by reducing the amount of manual keying of data as well as increasing visibility and accountability for the invoice approval process, this organisation is using a solution centred on EASY to do just that. It’s also capturing and extracting information from delivery notes and validating these against PO details to extract key data, which is sent to a renewals database, something that needs to be made more efficient as it gets in the order of 5,000 delivery notes per month.
