European Union Mini One Stop Shop (MOSS)

NetSuite now supports MOSS for tax reporting for digital services in the European Union (EU).

Under new EU taxation rules, sales of digital services to non-VAT registered EU customers are now tax based on the VAT rate prevailing in the customer’s country (not the seller’s). This applies to digital services including telecommunications, broadcasting, and electronically supplied services (e-services). If your company has a MOSS registration, you can use NetSuite’s EU MOSS feature together with International Tax Reports SuiteApp version 3.64 to charge, collect and report the appropriate tax for all B2C sales for digital services.
