As we come to close 2015 here are some of the highlights of our year at Nolan Business Solutions.

Microsoft Dynamics GP New Releases

We started off the year with a new release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015, this came with many new features and functionalities which brought great benefits for our customers.

  • Expanded workflows
  • Single sign on
  • Service based architecture

Customers were able to gain more from their systems which streamlined processes and helped businesses get more of a return from their solution investments.

Microsoft has since released Dynamics GP 2015R2, this again came with many more features which were all showcased at our ‘Now & Next’ workshop in November.

We continue to help customers through the Dynamics GP upgrade cycles and have a tried and tested approach to them to ensure things go smoothly and that customers are able to take full advantage of the new elements in the software. A referral scheme just for you….


 

Nolan Business Solutions continued to value its customers in 2015 so we thought we would show our appreciation by   launching a referral scheme.

We offer to pay a 10% referral fee* based on the solution sold, so if you know of any businesses looking for a new ERP system let us know!

The Arrival of Sage X3

In May we took the step of taking on a new solution, Nolan Business Solutions officially became business partners with Sage. We are concentrating on X3, as it is Sage’s enterprise level solution.

This means we can now offer a choice of 3 leading ERP solutions. At Nolan Business Solutions we are putting the needs of our customers first and offering impartial advice on the best solution for your business. 

Our day at the O2, London

In June Nolan Business Solutions treated our NetSuite customers and prospects to a day at the O2.

Here we were joined by NetSuite who were able to tell our customers and prospects about all the upcoming features and the road NetSuite will be taking over the next 12 months.

Nolan Business Solutions were excited to show their custom built SuiteApps, this showed the customers and prospects how they could extend the use of standard NetSuite functionality with Automatic Banking and Statement Direct. We also showed how warehouse operations could be streamlined with our Barcode Scanning application.

Once the day was over we braved the heights and climbed an icon…. It was a great day enjoyed by all.

This year alone we have ensured that all Microsoft Dynamics GP modules are kept up to date with the new releases as well as developing new modules for Dynamics GP and SuiteApps for NetSuite to keep in touch with the ever changing needs of businesses;

 

Our NetSuite SuiteApps have attained the ‘Built for NetSuite’ badge. This entails rigorous testing and review by NetSuite’s development team to ensure that our design and development meets the high standards of security and performance demanded by NetSuite.

Customer Experience Survey – Company Day

In September all of Nolan Business Solutions joined together to discuss the results of our recent Customer Experience Survey.

The independent customer research conducted by MK Group provided Nolan Business Solutions with valuable customer knowledge and identified opportunities for us to improve our customer’s experience of working with us.

Tim Nolan from Nolan Business Solutions added; "We really appreciate all of our customers' candid feedback and found the results of the Customer Experience Survey to be extremely positive."

In the afternoon there was a more competitive edge to the day! Participating in one of four teams, the different skills were really put to the test. Activities included: laser clay pigeon shooting, target practice, crossbow, chemical rescue, spider web and to end it all, human table football.

Our company day ended with a meal and drinks, enjoyed by all. The positivity from the day has remained in the office and really helped our team pull together and work as one team, with a better understanding of customers’ needs.
