With each version of Dynamics GP the support will eventually has to come to an end to focus on future releases.

Microsoft have two support lifecycles, Mainstream & Extended.

All users in the “extended support lifecycle” will be classed as lower priority by Microsoft and you may have to pay extra for support for not being on a newer release of Dynamics GP.
