Nolan Business Solutions implements Microsoft Dynamics GP to automate stock handling and improve financial control across its international business activities.

Radio Tactics, the specialist innovator of high-tech digital intelligence and evidence gathering solutions, has selected Nolan Business Solutions to implement Microsoft Dynamics GP to streamline its stock handling, accounting and reporting processes across its international business activities.

Used globally by military, law enforcement, governments and intelligence agencies, Radio Tactics’ exploitation devices provide security focused organisations with equipment to interrogate mobile phones, GPS and portable digital devices, providing real-time capture of intelligence and evidence. With offices in the UK, USA and Australia, Radio Tactics was in need of a financial accounting system which would simplify the management and control   of multiple stock lines on a global basis, whilst streamlining reporting and billing processes. Joe Newbold, Finance Manager at Radio Tactics, explains, “The implementation of Microsoft Dynamics GP by Nolan Business Solutions provides us with a more sophisticated, scalable and user-friendly accounting and business management system that will support our business activities internationally, including the UK, USA and Australia. Specifically, Microsoft Dynamics GP will streamline our stock management processes and provide us with much better management reporting which gives us a far more accurate picture of financial performance at any time.” Nolan Business Solutions was selected as Microsoft Dynamics GP partner following a competitive tender in which Radio Tactics looked at several different resellers. Nolan was selected because it demonstrated a thorough understanding of the company’s business requirements, has a proven track record of managing Microsoft Dynamics GP implementations and was able to offer local, on-the-ground support services. Newbold continues, “The team at Nolan have been outstanding. They are always quick to respond if we have any queries and they provide a very proactive level of support. We are extremely confident in Nolan’s knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics GP product suite and in the guidance they provide to us. Their ability to create bespoke software as an add-on to our existing GP solution is an exciting prospect and while we are not looking to take advantage of this capability currently it is something that we may look to explore in the future. Nolan have a great understanding of our business and an expert knowledge of accounting and IT which means that we have come to rely on them as an extension of our own internal resources.” Mike Risley, Commercial Director of Nolan Business Solutions, says, “Customer service has always been a business priority for Nolan. We always strive to provide the very best levels of support in order to help our customers realise the full potential of their IT systems. Working with Radio Tactics we are able to provide them with a comprehensive business management solution that meets all of their accounting, stock management and reporting capabilities in one central system.” Radio Tactics is also planning to implement Microsoft Dynamics CRM next year. This will provide the organisation with the tools and capabilities needed to create and easily maintain a clear picture of customers, from first contact through to sales and post-sales, as well as all other contacts within the organisation such as suppliers and employees.
