Appendix A: BAI File Format

In this guide

ABR is capable of importing BAI (Bank Administrative Institute) files during the statement import procedure. A BAI file is a complex, strictly formatted statement file. It may contain statement transactions for multiple bank accounts. Because of its strict formatting and multi-account support, it is the ideal format for importing bank statements into ABR.

Most banks support BAI files. However, each bank differs, so it is important to verify that your bank offers BAI as a downloadable statement file format.
