Supported Bank Connections

There are several ways to connect to the banks to get the statements.

SFTP:   This connects to the banks SFTP Server (where available) and downloads files which need to be converted into statement transactions. The file parsers then convert these files.

Currently available File Parsers are:

BAI2 A Standard bank file format used by many banks
BAI2 - JPMorgan A variant of the BAI2 format for JP Morgan Bank
BAI2 - AVID A variant of the BAI2 format
MT940 A standard bank file format
NatWest - Bankline Direct A bank specific file available from their Bankline Direct Service
Commonwealth Bank of Australia A bank specific format
CAMT053 A Standard bank file format part of SEPA
CDF3 Common Data Format 3
VCF Visa Commercial Format (VCF 4.0)
User Defined CSV User Defined File Import (for manually uploaded bank files) – COMING SOON


Direct Bank APIs: These call the Banks APIs using web service calls directly from NCS.

Currently available API's are:

Bank of America Extract statement transactions directly from the bank
Starling Bank Extract statement transactions directly from the bank
Stripe Extract transactions directly from Stripe Payment Gateway as statements
PayPal Extracts transactions from a PayPal Payment Gateway as statements
