The ABR Reconcile window filter and sorting options are setup to operate in the same fashion as the filters and sorts in Business Central thereby helping users get to grips with them easily and quickly.
Quick column sorting
To quickly sort columns, simply click on the name of the column like so:
Clicking here will sort the column and clicking it again will change the direction of that sort (i,e. descending or ascending order). The arrow next to the column name indicates what direction the sort is currently set to.
Quickly show matched / unmatched transactions
You can easily set the transaction lists in ABR to show matched, unmatched or all transactions by clicking on either of the list headers as show below:
From here you can choose what transactions both windows will show you
Column filter menu
To access the column filter menu, simply hover you mouse over the column header and click on the arrow as shown:
From here you can set the sort order for the column, but also access the filtering features. Selecting filter will open up a filter option for the column we are looking at, in our example we just want to show amounts between 100,000 and 200,000 in value:
You can add several filters to the grid which will all work in conjunction.
Clicking the "X" next to the filter name will remove the filter.
You can hide and show the list of filters by clicking the "Hide Filter" text shown in the top right of the image.
Show Match Info
Locate a matched transaction in one of the grids and click on the row menu shown below:
- Match Info: displays the information for this match on a new pop up window
- Show match: Will filter both grids so only the transactions that make up this match set are displayed
Zoom to Business Central Transaction
Opening the row menu on any transaction in the bank ledger grid shown here:
will give you the option to "View Details". This will open up a new tab in Business Central with the selected transaction displayed
